Bidding starts on Saturday August 12 @ 12:00p.m. Eastern Time
BIDDING THREAD FOR:
OWNED BY: Arizona Coyotes
RFA BIDDING RULES:
- Bids must be listed as the total of the contract.
For example: 35m over 5 years. You do not have to list the full details of your bid (amount of years) unless you have won the bid. Only the total.
- Maximum years allowed will be based off of the total of the winning bid.
1-10M - Maximum 1 year contract allowed
11-20M - Maximum 2 year contract allowed
21-30M - Maximu 3 year contract allowed
31-40M - Maximum 4 year contract allowed
41-75M - Maximum 5 year contract allowed
- The owner of the player may match any bid. Matching a bid does NOT end the bidding, unless you are matching the maximum bid (75M).
- The owner of the player may go over the cap (temporarily) to retain their own RFA.
- If nobody bids on an RFA within 48 hours, then the team that owns the player will sign the player to a 1 year/1M contract. This contract will be treated as a 2 way contract, meaning the player can be placed in the minors.
- You may bid on more than one player at one time. The total of all your bids must not put you over the cap though. If one of your bids has been beaten, then it no longer counts against your total. An easy way to find out your total bid max is to multiply your Cap Room by 5.
- You may not bid twice in a row on the same player.
- First bids must be a minimum of 1M. Every subsequent bid must be atleast 1M higher than the last bid.
- If a bid goes unbeaten after 24 hours...then that bid wins the player.
- We do not accept front-loaded and back-loaded contracts. This means that the salary (and cap hit) will be the same for every year throughout the contract.
- The maximum bid allowed is 15m per year or 75m in total.
